Adam got up on stage with Envy On The Coast recently, watch him sing The Gift Of Paralysis HERE & HERE for longer version. Check out Envy if you aren't familiar with them.

I was planning on launching a new message board back in the summer but it never happened, if I launch it now will people actually use it and post on it? I'm a little hesitant since its dead in TBS world and will be for another few months, but If you want it I will make it public asap. Let me know.

Still NO official public announcement on who will be replacing Fred. In a recent AP.net interview with Fred he said "Well, the funny thing is, I had some people call about the guitar parts. One of them called the day 'Bend to Break' came out. He was really cool and I didn't mind of course, but it's just funny." You can read the rest HERE.

Fred has left TBS. Message from the band. . .

"After four great years and two successful gold albums together, Fred has decided to leave Taking Back Sunday to pursue his solo career. We wish him well and we are working on the next Taking Back Sunday album as we speak.

We wanted to let you guys know and then get back to working on the music. No drama, just riffs.

On that note, Fred's album The Color Fred's BEND TO BREAK is coming out on October 30.

The Louder Now Parttwo CD/DVD is coming out November 20. You want webisodes, we got webisodes. You want unreleased live videos? Got that too. Lots of bounus features and behind the scenes goodies on this one. More on that soon.

The next Taking Back Sunday album is in its very early stages. As always, we will be updating you on that as we go along.

Adam appears on the cover song 'Lovefool' by New Found Glory on 'From The Screen To Your Sterio Part 2' released Sept. 18th (today)
Adam will appear on the song 'Surgically Removing the Tracking Device' from Say Anything off the album "In Defense of the Genre" released on Oct. 23rd.
On Oct. 30th the release of "Notes From The Past" which is a "compilation of older material from the first two albums and a couple of b-sides" from the Victory years.

Seems like this SITE will be streaming and hosting live vids/pic of all bands on the tour.

According to AP.net Adam and Fred will be lending their vocals to the new Say Anything record (due to release in late Oct.)

Mark is off the tour due to a herniated disc. Read about it in the diary he posted. Aaron from Matchbook Romance is filling in. If you havnt heard of them, shame on you.

TBS are yet again featured on a movie soundtrack, this being their fourth. Whats It Feel Like To Be A Ghost? will be on the Transformers Soundtrack due out on July 3rd.

Taking Back Sunday front man Adam Lazzara has hinted to Kerrang! that the New York quintet will begin writing for their follow-up to 2006's "Louder Now!. But, as Lazzara explains, they won't be hitting any deadlines to appease their label.
"We're going to put our heads together soon but we're trying not to be too phased by it," says Lazzara."In this day and age everyone seems to want more and more and they want it instantly.Music seems to be about quantity not quality now. The perfect time to make a new record is when you're tired of the last one. But people in the music industry don't understand that."

And Adam mentioned in Kerrang! that he is going to get married next March.

Kerrang! named Louder Now the album of the year.

The media section has been updated with videos that are in .FLV format which means it wont play in quicktime/wmp/realplayer so you'll have to dl something like Wimpy flv player HERE. You'll need it for future .flv videos which will be ones that can't be converted into mpegs,wmv,avi, ect. plus there smaller in size.

The DVD is out in the US so hopefully you've all picked it up. Seems like a lot are waiting until x-mas to get it.

Quick news about the media section.

Brad Jashinsky, Taking Back Sunday Fan and TBSUnion.com fan, and his co-partner Daniel Story came to me a few months ago offering hosting space for the media section using their service called Reimagine Memories. Reimagine Memories recently just upgraded their systems and are now offering faster download speeds, less wait, and more file space for the TBSUnion.com media section. Along with their fast downloads we are also partnering with an ad revenue sharing plan. Ads will only appear on the media site and are currently there right now with us getting a cut of the revenue each time they are clicked on and/or a sale is made through them. My big concern is making sure that all of you are ok with these ads and that we tailor them to your likes. Go check them out and let me know which ads you prefer and recommend. In a recent interview found HERE. They talk about releasing a DVD around Christmas/January.

"vU: Speaking of movies, are we going to be seeing any more home movies?
TBS: Oh yes! We have tonnes and tonnes and hours worth of footage of us acting like idiots. As long as we are together we are always going to have movies cos we love to expose and embarrass each other.

vU: I'd like to see a Taking Back Sunday DVD released...
TBS: Christmas time/January. DVD. 2 discs. Our very first one and we are very excited. We’re actually doing the editing now and we are like, funny embarrassing stuff. Mark is trying to edit out stuff where he is embarrassed and we won’t let him. You get to see us acting weird and ridiculous.

vU: I’m looking forward to it!
TBS: You get to see [ a certain Taking Back Sunday member's name is mumbled... ] in a pair Speedos.
You even get to hear stories about Mark taking out male models."
